If you're a designer, even an individual, I think we need a brand. Especially when we share a lot of things online, just like the current situation. I think using the brand in a common direction helps to remember designers. The personal logo conceived "Shared + River + Design" in a square box. In this box, if you look at it in detail, it's lines to express "sharing design ideas." And the alphabet, "K," found in the name "Gang," represents the personal brand and direction behind the design. The lines in this boxed space support multilateral communication, where ideas, ideas and expressions all fit into this space. Finally, red-colored bold strokes were applied to emphasize passion for design and sharing. - Font can be applied to a variety of environments. It's font design.

I believe that any designer needs his or her unique brand.
Using symbolic logos with a coherent theme would make a designer more memorable, especially during this day and age, where people can share everything online.

The logo shows ‘sharing, Kang(Last Name) and Design’ in a rectangular box. If you scrutinize the box, interior of the box is comprised of different words to express ‘sharing design ideas. ‘K,’ an alphabet from ‘Kang’ symbolizes my name. These words mean multilateral communication using designers’ thoughts, ideas, and expressions. As a finishing touch, I used a bold reddish colour to emphasize my passion for design.

Font
Design fonts can be integrated into multiple aspects.
Especially, design fonts can be effective for forms that should give out strong impressions, such as titles.
My fonts have also been used for watch designs; I am collaborating with Watchmaster. My works are showcased on the Google Store and Samsung Store.

Font Grid
Inside a rectangle defined based on the logo, lines that are most repetitive are the same as the contour of the logo. This is base grid value of the font.
When ‘딪(elw)’ is typed with Korean keyboard, the logo enters automatically.
